I am Aseye, a Ghanaian-American navigating life between two cultures that have shaped me in different but equally powerful ways. Born in the United States to parents from Ghana, I’ve spent much of my life trying to understand what it means to belong to both worlds. This journey led me to create a short film that captures my reflections on identity, featuring my father’s story of migration and my own experiences reconnecting with Ghana.
